The Cellar Bar
The Cellar Bar is entirely yours for an unforgettable event. Staying true to our roots, The Cellar Bar has welcoming Irish-inspired interiors, but with a sophisticated underground edge where your guests can enjoy a private evening of celebration. If you’ve ever wanted to recreate your own legendary Dannys experience, all to yourself, now you can!
The Fox
Your private nook on the Viaduct. Ideal for celebrating big bash birthdays, riotous hen and stag dos, crucial corporate events, or any cheeky get-together that calls for a tipple or two. With its own entrance, bar, and even a smoking area, this cosy corner is your very own playground.
Botany Commons

Boasting a curated selection of your favourite tipples, we’re ready to ignite your occasion and launch unforgettable moments. Plus! Play it live and loud with our top-tier sound system and the largest projector screen in East Auckland.
The Cav
Soak up sweeping views of the city from our expansive deck or cosy up by the fire inside. Come for after-work drinks, a family celebration or a special occasion and immerse yourself in the vibrant late-night atmosphere that is still a signature offering within the walls of this iconic building. The Cav has always been a legendary spot to catch sport – and that hasn’t changed. We’re still one of the best bars in the city to watch a match with a like-minded crowd.
Union Post
Formerly the village post office, Union Post remains a neighborhood institution, finding new life as the home of relaxed dining, drinking, and good times in the center of Ellerslie Village. While we’ve kept a nostalgic nod to our building’s heritage, our interiors offer a contemporary space – the perfect spot for a cold drink with colleagues, a fun family meal, or a night out with friends.
